Sowmini is a boring software professional based in Bangalore. To compensate for the boredom, she dabbles in penning short stories, poems and plays. The main challenge she faces daily is getting out of the couch and facing the world. She is a staunch introvert who maintains social distancing irrespective of COVID. She is an expert in staring at walls and engaging in soliloquy. Sowmini's works have found homes in journals such as Women's Web, Mean Pepper Vine, Festival of Poetry. A miracle that happened in 2024 is the publication of her debut poetry book "Dandelions Don't Cry". Sowmini loves good food, movies, books and plants. She hates physical exertion in any form and crunching numbers. She has very little sense of direction (GPS missing in the brain) and is often lost in unfamiliar surroundings.
