POETRY
Poetry is many things. It is the light shining forth through the pages. Some days it is the darkness. But that's alright. If the entire world could be fitted into one tiny thing, it would be a poem. You can come home to yourself through your poetry.
Poetry demands vulnerability. It is a profound act of human expression — a beautiful alchemy of imagery, emotion, and imagination. Poetry is far more than the ink on paper; it is a vibrant landscape where personal experiences intersect with universal truths. Each poem is a carefully crafted vessel, carrying the poet's intimate voice, while simultaneously speaking to collective human experiences.
We savoured each poem we had the privilege of reading for this magazine. We appreciated the poets’ abilities to distill complex emotions into precise language, transforming personal moments into resonant art. But we had to make choices and they weren’t easy ones.
In this section, we bring you six poets who have pushed boundaries to excavate inner landscapes; who understand that every line is a bridge between individual consciousness and shared human understanding. We give you poems by Ramanjaneya Sharaph, Sowmini S K, Bobby Pawar, Pranoo Deshraju, Nandita Dutta and Vibha Vasi — poems that beautifully illuminate the myriad facets of the human condition.
We trust you enjoy reading them!
