When we began as a small writing sprints group, I don’t think any of us imagined we would one day be putting together an Indo–Korean special edition, curating literary exchanges, or helping build something like the India Literary Tour. This issue feels like a marker of how far our community has travelled, together.
Through Project Bhasha, this edition is our attempt to begin real literary dialogue between India and Korea, not just through translation, but through shared storytelling traditions. I am deeply grateful to Jeon Heyjin for trusting us with her excerpt, and to the Consul General for lending his voice to this cultural conversation. Literature has long been a bridge between our countries, and this issue stands on that shared history.
I am deeply grateful to LTI Korea for their grant support in helping make the India Literary Tour possible. Their faith in us has helped turn community energy into something real and sustainable.
This issue also introduces something new for us — Oral Stories. Many stories live only in memory, in families, in voices that may one day fade. This section is our way of seeking out stories that could otherwise be lost and listening to where literature truly begins.
Thank you for growing with us.

It fills my heart with tremendous joy as we present our readers with the third edition of QuillMark. Its conception lies in the need to create space for our beloved members where they can express their creativity and yet, with every edition, QuillMark progresses in leaps and bounds - not limiting itself to its originally intended scope.
The third edition explores translations and oral stories in a different light. We welcomed contributions from beyond the community and the response we received from all quarters in terms of submissions was truly heartwarming.
As always, the team effort from our talented cohort of authors, poets, editors, beta readers and artists ensured that QuillMark delivers an enriched reading experience. This edition brings to you an ensemble of stories and experiences from India and the lands beyond.
In our quest to learn and grow, we venture into unchartered territory time and again. This edition is a testament to our dedication towards our craft and culture. I hope our readers are able to connect with our writing journeys through our efforts at QuillMark.
With warm regards, I wish you a happy reading experience!
