She is a newbie writer—unless, like her, you believe being published and being a writer are separate things. In that case, she has been a storyteller all her life. Shreya Shiromani is the co-founder and Managing Director of Equavantage Consulting, a diversity talent management start-up. She has also been a Chef, a researcher, and a BPO minion across different countries. The diversity of her experiences gives her a bagful of stories that inform her writing.

She writes in bursts—when voices of her characters grow too loud to ignore. Between running a startup and caregiving for family, writing for her, has often had to make space for everything else. But making up stories is where she comes home to herself. She wants to write stories that matter—stories that change how people see themselves because she believes narrative has power to connect, awaken, and heal.
