Who are we ?

Ink & Quill Collective is a community for dedicated writers. Here we build long lasting connections and friendships to create and support each other's work. Every day, we come together for writing sprints to get words on the page, but it’s not just about the writing. It’s about the feedback we give, the opportunities and resources we share, and the encouragement we provide. We've always got each other’s backs. We are a steaming pot of many flavours with members from different walks of life. Homemakers, students and working professionals, a newbie writer and an accomplished one - you will find them all in our family, and you will be left inspired.
Our vision is to build an accessible ecosystem for writers, authors, independent booksellers, readers, designers, publishers and every other creatives. To that effect, our collaboration extends beyond our immediate circle, always looking for ways to support and elevate the creative process.

DAILY WRITING SPRINTS

The heart of IQC lies in its unique ‘Writing Sprints’. Our writers login on the common sprint link which is active for 24 hours, on all 7 days of the week. Whether you are an early bird or a night owl, you choose your slot and dedicate the time writing and connecting with like-minded writers.

WEEKLY PEER REVIEWS

Acceptance before rejection! You need not seek out your beta readers or cold submit your work. IQC’s Weekly Peer Reviews provide insightful and constructive critiques designed to elevate your draft in a supportive and encouraging environment before your deadline!

MONTHLY AUTHOR MEETS

Every month, we invite guest authors for a candid conversation on their writing process. We have had award winning authors from across different genres and our members have benefitted immensely interacting with them.

BI-ANNUAL MAGAZINE

Quillmark is our homegrown annual magazine launching on 2nd Feb 2025. It is a product of an incredible collaborative effort of our members who have shouldered the responsibility of slush reading, reviewing, copyediting and proofreading our member exclusive submissions across fiction, non-fiction, poetry, journal and graphic fiction.

BOOK CLUB

Read Like A Writer is IQC's very own book club. Readers meet online every month to discuss books and short stories from a writer’s perspective. We read across all genres to focus not just on the art but also on the craft , be it structure, character, view point, pacing, language, or any other element.

ANNUAL CHALLENGES

At IQC we thrive to make monotonous writing habits interesting. Our annual challenge amplifies member engagement and is timed to help writers and poets meet their goals.

MASTERCLASSES

IQC Masterclass is a series of sessions across different aspects of the craft - be it for fiction, non-fiction or poetry. It is again another collaborative effort from within our family. Experts are brought together to curate modules exclusively for our members.
