Mehak Khurshied
Mehak Khurshied is a writer from Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. For her, writing is a constant dissipation of self, and her work centers around, but is not limited to, the themes of the ever-altering nature of identity, bittersweet nostalgia, and grief. She is powered almost entirely by misplaced humour, hot/cold beverages, and eating oranges in the winter sun. Her work has appeared in Usawa Literary Magazine, Gulmohar Quarterly, Muse India, The Aleph Review, The Chakkar, Monograph Magazine, Verses of Silence, and elsewhere.
